City Lodge Hotels, in a move to centralise the database serving its Johannesburg head office operations and 37 hotels countrywide, has awarded a R1.4 million contract to business and financial software reseller and solutions provider Lorge to install and implement ACCPAC Advantage Series Enterprise Edition accounting software.
The contract includes the consolidation of all existing data and full integration of ACCPAC into the City Lodge front office hotel management and administration software. The new software system will accommodate 88 ACCPAC SQL users, 50 Peresoft Cashbook users and 37 ACCPAC Insight viewers.
Shelley Gittleson of Lorge corporate sales says the ACCPAC Insight solution is a business intelligence module that provides enterprise-wide reporting, budgeting, forecasting and consolidation.
“The module has powerful features and fully integrates with ACCPAC business management applications. The result is fast, accurate managerial reporting and analyses upon which management can make well-informed business decisions.”
Gittleson adds that the contract also includes the implementation of Norming Asset Management software which is a powerful tool providing strict financial controls over company assets. The software has features to enable assets to be tracked throughout the organisation and to process asset acquisitions, depreciations, disposals and adjustments.
