As another step in a drive to extend its market beyond SA into the SADC, business and accounting software systems and solutions provider Lorge has entered into an alliance agreement with Zimbabwe ACCPAC dealer Sabis Consulting, based in Harare.
“We now have a presence in Zimbabwe and Botswana,” said Lorge managing director Errol Wills, “and our ultimate objective is to establish a presence in all of the SADC countries over the next few years that will provide additional growth for our business.”
As part of the alliance agreement, Lorge will provide Sabis with skills and assistance in sales, system implementation, vertical market needs and the seamless integration of operational software into the ACCPAC back office accounting systems.
Sabis managing director Nigel Hulett said the company would benefit from the alliance with Lorge. “Having Lorge`s resources and experience at our disposal gives us additional capability to add value in our dealings with existing clients and prospective ACCPAC customers.”
Wills added that the Lorge infrastructure and client care centre in Johannesburg will also be able to provide support services to customers in Zimbabwe and other SADC countries as and when similar alliances or partnerships are formed.
