Inala Broadcast started looking for a new business solution during 2020 to replace its Sage 300 solution, with the aim of migrating to a cloud-based business solution to reduce IT costs and enable its finance team to work from anywhere. The company analysed its IT expenses and identified a suitable cloud platform that would allow it to operate independently without needing to run its own servers or build in-house IT capabilities.
Inala evaluated a range of business solutions, but ultimately opted for Sage Intacct based on its long-standing relationship with Sage Business Partner, Lorge and overall satisfaction with Sage solutions.
Riekie Roux, head of Sage Intacct at Lorge, adds that Sage Intacct not only enables the finance team to work easily and securely from any location, but it also offers powerful functionality that gives the finance team better insight and richer, self-service reports across multiple dimensions of the business’s finances. It also enables the team to track serial numbers for equipment sales without the need to implement a complex inventory management solution – one of Inala’s key requirements.
Lorge’s familiarity with the technical and business environment at Inala Broadcast facilitated smooth migration of financial data from Sage 300 to Sage Intacct. The solution was implemented in under six weeks, and the finance team quickly learned how to use it via its online training materials. The team has found the process easy to implement, and completed its first financial year-end with Sage Intacct as the new financial management solution.
