Financial software reseller and solutions provider Lorge has won an ACCPAC accounting software upgrade sale worth R500 000 from the Sondela wildlife resort complex north of Pretoria. A dedicated hotel front-office software solution that integrates seamlessly with ACCPAC will also be implemented.
Sondela`s ACCPAC Dos system will be upgraded to the Advantage Series 5.2 Windows-based solution running on a Microsoft SQL database. The ACCPAC core modules include General Ledger, Debtors, Creditors, Stock, Multi-Currency and Point-of-Sale.
The award-winning Sondela complex consists of two bush lodges, a tented lodge, chalets, a caravan park and a working farm. An RCI Gold Crown timeshare resort, Sondela has a four-star Satour rating.
Lorge product manager Derek Porter says the diversified operations of Sondela require an integrated solution. “UniResMan software, which provides a complete hotel front-office solution integrating seamlessly into ACCPAC, will manage the resort`s reception functions, guest information and resources.
“Another specialised add-on software called Service Manager, will manage and streamline operations such as vehicle use, workshops, farm equipment, labour scheduling and parts/stock availability, among others. It also integrates seamlessly with ACCPAC.”
