ACCPAC reseller and development and premier business partner, Lorge, recently hosted the ACCPAC Botswana End User Seminar 2004 at the Grand Palm Hotel and Conference Centre in Gaborone.
Well attended by Lorge`s Botswana clients and potential ACCPAC users, the seminar highlighted ACCPAC`s roadmap and enhancements in versions 5.2 and 5.3.
ACCPAC Africa technical support manager Manny de Abreu explained how version 5.3 would give users considerably enhanced system and user security with the ability to globally set up features that will enforce password changes, structure and length as well as prohibit password re-use.
Similar follow-up seminars are planned for other countries in Africa that are seen as growth markets, says Errol Wills, MD of Lorge.
Complementary ACCPAC products, ACCPAC Insight, an enterprise-wide reporting, budgeting, forecasting and consolidations solution, and Service Manager, an ACCPAC third-party product that can effectively manage labour scheduling, stock availability, job profitability, meter manufacturer`s agreements, site inspection records and manage customer relationships, were demonstrated to delegates.
Lorge`s long-established Botswana branch organised and hosted the seminar, and Lorge managing director Errol Wills said similar follow-up seminars are planned for other countries in Africa that are seen as growth markets.
